How long does it take to complete my research project?
Many efforts are completed within a few weeks, however each research problem is unique as far as the amount of time required for completion. You will receive a status report every two weeks that will help keep you informed of progress. Our completion time is typically faster than our competitors since we do not need to wait for microfilmed records to be delivered to us.
If you have other questions about your research needs, please contact us and a genealogist will respond to your inquiry as quickly as possible.
What are your payment options?
We accept credit card payments via PayPal. PayPal is a secure payment service, which uses SSL encryption on its transactions to keep your personal information safe. None of your personal financial information is shared with us. Other forms of payment include personal check or money order made payable to Genealogy Adventures. We will wait for your check to be cleared before starting your project.
Will there be any charges in addition to the hourly research fee?
Projects are prepared in electronic format unless otherwise requested, saving you the costs of copying from films and printed materials. Hard copy reports are charged at .10 per page plus mailing costs. Credit Card transactions require a small fee for PayPal (.029% + .30 per transaction).
